Classes - Create N Sip - Workshops - Open Studios

Come and try one of our fun events.

 

We supply everything you need to create your very own painting on the day/night.

 

You supply your favourite beverage of choice. BYO alcohol, coffee, soft drink, etc, and any snacks you might like to nibble on or share unless otherwise stated. (Glasses and ice provided.) Some events include high tea or lunch

We use water-based acrylic paint and supply aprons; however, spills and splotches can occur, so please wear something you don’t mind getting paint on.

Events are held at the “Imaginarium Creative Studio’ at Lemon Tree Passage. This is also a professional artist studio/gallery. The events are run by artists.

 

Please arrive 10 minutes early so you can settle in and get your drinks ready.

Create N Sip - 2 1/2 hrs as advertised

Your facilitator will guide you through an easy step-by-step process to create a specific painting for the event.  They will show you how to make it your own with colours you love.

We also encourage you to let your imagination run free and create what your heart desires. We won’t be offended if you create something different or branch out entirely on your own. We love to see new creations.

The purpose of this class is to have some fun and chill while painting. It’s great for all levels, especially beginners. It’s not a painting lesson as such, but you will be given tips and tricks to help you create something you love.  Your individuality will be expressed as you create, making each piece unique. Many find a new love for painting or a rekindled desire to pick up a brush again.

 Workshops - hours as advertised per workshop.

 These events are longer than a Creat N Sip and usually include food. They book out fast.

Classes - as advertised.

During these classes, you will be taught techniques and gain knowledge on how to create your own paintings and develop your own style. 

Beginner classes give you all the basics and a good foundation to begin or refresh your knowledge so you feel confident to start creating your own art. These classes are packed with information and inspiration.  It's also a place where new art friendships are formed. 

Part 2 classes follow on from the beginners classes, developing skills in landscapes, abstracts and other painting types. This class is also suitable for those who do some painting and know the basics and would like support and guidance to develop their skills.

 

Open Studios - As advertised

Resident Artist Michele Ableson holds Open Studio events to show and sell her artwork. She works from the Imaginarium Studio. The Studio is not open at regular times, but she can often be seen working inside. If the sign on the door says open feel free to pop in and say hi and take a look around.
